Transitioning into Fall
I don't know about ya'll, but I'm certainly ready for some cooler weather. These 95 degree days have got to go. As I sit here and think about how nice it will be to walk outside and not immediately be drenched with sweat, I also think about how nice it will be to break out fall clothes. I love scarves and boots and sweaters. But instead of jumping right into layers of clothing, I always have to remember that there's a period of transition between fall and summer where the mornings and nights are cool and the days are warm. This calls for clothing that can keep you warm during the mornings and will allow you to breath during the day. I've picked out my favorite fall transition pieces below.
First up is this olive t-shirt dress. This is a great transition piece. Throw on a lightweight cardigan or scarf and you're good to go.
We love the asymmetrical hem of this tee and how great it would look with a plaid scarf, distressed jeans, and booties!
This kimono would look great over navy and olive dresses, or over simple tees and would give an extra layer of warmth when you need it. Take if off if on days when it's warmer out!
